Ingredients

- 4 Egg Yolks
- Challa Bread
- Hoagie Rolls
- 3/4 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 Tsp. Nutmeg
- Salt
- Maple Syrup
- 3-4 Tbsp. Butter
Method
- Preheat oven to 250°F (Optional)
- Break up 4 yolks and pour 1/4 tsp vanilla extract. Throw in a pinch of salt and 3/4 cup of heavy whipping cream.
- Warm your maple syrup by placing the bottle in a pot of boiling water.
- Cut your bread in 1- 1 1/4 inch slices
- Melt 2 tbsp of butter in a pan on medium-low heat.
- Soak slices of bread for 20-30 seconds in egg mixture. Cook on a pan for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Crisp toast in the oven for a few minutes (Optional).
