Ingredients

- 1 Acorn Squash
- 1.5 Tbsp of Brown Sugar
- 4 Tbsp of Butter
- Ground Cinnamon
Method
- Use a fork to pierce the skin of the squash sporadically before softening it in the microwave for one minute.
- Cut the squash into two equal halves, being careful to avoid the stem. Scoop out the seeds.
- Use a fork to press a few grooves into the bottom of each squash half.
- In each half, pour brown sugar and add 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Sprinkle about six dashes of cinnamon on top of each squash half.
- Place the squash halves in the microwave and cook for approximately 10 minutes.
- Check the doneness of the squash by inserting a fork into the flesh. It should be tender.
- If the squash is not fully cooked, continue microwaving in short intervals until it reaches the desired tenderness.
- Carefully remove the squash from the microwave, as it will be hot.
- Serve and enjoy!
