Corned Beef and Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 3 carrots
  • 3 onions
  • 5 small potatoes
  • Grobbel’s Corned Beef
  • 2 cabbages
  • 1 stick of butter

Method

  1. In a large pot, place the corned beef and its juices. Add enough water to the pot to submerge the beef mostly.
  2. Season the beef with desired seasonings. Cook on medium heat for 3 hours.
  3. Around the 2 hours 45 minutes mark, prepare the remaining ingredients:
  1. Add the carrots, onions, potatoes, and cabbage to the pot along with the stick of butter. Continue cooking for 45 minutes.
  2. Increase the heat to high and boil for an additional 15 minutes.
  3. Serve the corned beef and cabbage topped with the cooking juices. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
