Ingredients

- 3 carrots
- 3 onions
- 5 small potatoes
- Grobbel’s Corned Beef
- 2 cabbages
- 1 stick of butter
Method
- In a large pot, place the corned beef and its juices. Add enough water to the pot to submerge the beef mostly.
- Season the beef with desired seasonings. Cook on medium heat for 3 hours.
- Around the 2 hours 45 minutes mark, prepare the remaining ingredients:
- Cut the carrots into approximately 2-inch chunks.
- Cut the onions into large pieces by halving them and then dividing into thirds.
- Halve the potatoes.
- Cut the cabbages into large pieces by halving them and then dividing into fifths.
- Add the carrots, onions, potatoes, and cabbage to the pot along with the stick of butter. Continue cooking for 45 minutes.
- Increase the heat to high and boil for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve the corned beef and cabbage topped with the cooking juices. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
