Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs Brussel Sprouts
- ¼ cup Maple Syrup
- 6-8 slices of Bacon
Method
- Pull off any bad leaves on the Brussel sprouts and cut each sprout in half.
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the pan.
- In the same skillet with the bacon grease, add the Brussel sprouts. Season with salt, pepper, and add 2 tablespoons of butter for extra flavor.
- Cover the skillet and let the Brussel sprouts cook for 10-12 minutes, or until you see caramelization and the sprouts become tender.
- Once the Brussel sprouts are cooked, drizzle the maple syrup over them and crumble the cooked bacon on top.
- Stir everything together gently to ensure the sprouts are coated in the maple syrup and bacon.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the delicious maple bacon Brussel sprouts as a delightful side dish or accompaniment to your meal.
