Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast cutlets
  • Basil leaves
  • 3 tbsp Plain Cream Cheese
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter
  • Pizza dough
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh Bocconcini (small mozzarella balls)
  • 7 oz Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves of Garlic, minced

Method

1. Preparing the Grill:

Preheat the grill to 525 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Grilling the Chicken:

  1. Melt 2 tbsp of butter in a medium-sized pan.
  2. Add the chicken breast cutlets and season with pepper.
  3. Cook the chicken until it is fully cooked and browned on both sides.
  4. Transfer the cooked chicken to a paper towel to drain any excess grease.
  5. Cut the chicken into small pieces and set aside.

3. Making the Alfredo Sauce:

  1. In the same pan used for cooking the chicken, melt the remaining butter.
  2. Add the plain cream cheese and 6 oz of heavy whipping cream to the pan. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and well combined with the cream.
  3. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese and minced garlic to the sauce, stirring constantly.
  4. Reduce the heat and simmer the sauce until it thickens slightly. Be careful not to boil the sauce.

4. Preparing the Pizza:

  1. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  2. Spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough.
  3. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves, cooked chicken pieces, shredded mozzarella cheese, and bocconcini over the sauce.

5. Grilling the Pizza:

  1. Carefully transfer the pizza onto the preheated grill.
  2. Close the grill and cook the pizza for about 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serving:

  1. Remove the pizza from the grill and let it cool for a few minutes.
  2. Slice the pizza into servings and garnish with additional fresh basil leaves.
