Ingredients

- water
- spaghetti noodles
- 1 butternut squash
- 2-3 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 1-2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp pepper 4-5 strips bacon
- 2 chicken breasts
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- any desired amount of cheese, grated
- parsley
Method
Cutting and Cooking the Squash
- cut squash in half, cleaning out the seeds with a spoon
- cook each half for at least 10-20 minutes in a microwave. to ensure that the squash is fully cooked, insert a fork into the flesh and the squash should be soft and tender

Making the Spaghetti Sauce
- cook some bacon on a pan and remove the bacon, keeping the grease
- add diced onions to the pan with the bacon grease and heat up the stove once again
- put in garlic and mix
- drain the grease using a strainer and dump the grease back into the pan, putting the garlic and onions to the side
- scoop out the flesh of the squash, put it in a food processor, and blend
- add the cream in and blend again
- put the garlic and onion mixture in and blend one last time
Cooking the Spaghetti and the Chicken
- put flour, salt, smoked paprika, and pepper into a plate and mix
- coat the chicken breasts with this dry mixture and put them aside on a plate
- put water in a pot and cook the spaghetti
- fry the chicken breasts on the pan with the bacon grease and use a thermometer to make sure they are 165°F throughout the entire chicken, then put them to the side
Finishing Off the Dish
- add the squash blend into the pan and heat it on low, adding a few ladles of spaghetti water to thin it out while you mix
- add some shredded cheese and salt and mix
- cut some of the chicken, any amount you desire for your dish, into thick strips
- lay the pasta on the plate, pour the sauce on it, and lay the chicken strips on top
- add some shredded bacon and parsley and enjoy!
