Ingredients

- 2 prime ribeyes
- 2.5 cups light brown sugar
- 3/4 cups white vinegar
- 1.25 cups soy sauce
- 10 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1-1.5 tsp ground pepper
Method
Marinating the Ribeyes in a Bag
- put ribeyes into a Ziplock bag and add light brown sugar, white vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and ground pepper
- seal the bag, squeezing out as much air as possible, and carefully mix everything up
- put in fridge for 5-6 hours or overnight. flip the bag every 1 or 2 hours if you want to cover the ribeyes really well with the marinade
- take the bag out of the fridge and let it sit for 30-40 minutes before grilling

Grilling the meat
- take meat out of bag and put on a platter, keeping the marinade for later
- grill meat at 450°F to 475°F and close the grill lid
- cook for 6 minutes, flip over each ribeye and put in more marinade, then cook for 6 more minutes
- cook until internal temperature of meat is 125°F to 127°F throughout
- let meat rest for 5 minutes before you enjoy!
