Ingredients

- 1/2 cup olives
- 1 tbsp. capers
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. Red pepper flakes
- 28 oz diced tomatoes
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- olive oil
- half of 8 ox. box of pasta
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- parmesan
- basil
Method
Making the sauce
- put olive oil into a pan and heat it up
- put in olives and capers
- cook for two minutes, putting in garlic at one minute and a half mark
- put in diced tomatoes, pepper, sugar, and salt, and cook for 25-30 minutes. Add water while cooking if it’s too dry
Preparing the pasta
- boil water and cook the pasta
- drain pasta before putting it into the sauce
- serve the pasta in a bowl, topping it with basil, parmesan, and olive oil before you enjoy!
