Sweet Chili Sriracha Hot Wings

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken wings
  • a bowl full of tempura flour
  • a bowl full of corn starch
  • 2 cups Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 3/4 cups Sriracha
  • 2 1/2 quarts oil

Method

Making the sauce

  1. add Thai sweet chili sauce and sriracha into a bowl and stir

Preparing the wings

  1. cut the tips off of the wings
  2. rinse the chicken well with cold water, leaving the wings kind of wet
  3. sprinkle the wings with tempura flower, fully coating them

Frying

  1. pour oil into a large frying pan
  2. heat up the oil to 350-365°F
  3. drench the wings in cornstarch
  4. place them in the oil and fry for 8-10 minutes, turning the flame off when needed
  5. drain the oil from the chicken
  6. roll the wings in the sauce and place on a dish before you enjoy!
