Ingredients

- 2 fresh (sand) pears
- 1.5 tsp. (or to your taste) cinnamon
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- puff pastry
- powdered sugar
- flour
- lemon juice (optional)
Method
Preparing the filling
- peel the pears with a vegetable peeler
- place the butter into a sauce pan and melt
- put in sugar and cinnamon and stir, melting them all the way
- cut the pear into thick slices/chunks and stir into the mixture, cooking for about 25 minutes on enough heat to soften the pears
Finishing the pastries
- pre-heat the oven to 400°F
- sprinkle flour onto a cutting board and lay out puff pastry, cutting it into two triangles
- scoop the sugar cinnamon filling onto the puff pastries and fold them on to themselves
- brush some melted butter onto the pastries
- put partridge on a sheet pan and lay the pastries on top and place into oven, baking for 15 minutes
- drizzle the cinnamon sugar sauce onto the pastries a sprinkle powdered sugar on top before you enjoy!
