Ingredients

- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. ground Cumin
- clarified butter, melted
- 3-4 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cauliflower
- parsley
- balsamic glaze
Method
Cutting the “steaks”
- cut off the bottom of the cauliflower and remove all the leaves, then cut off the stalk
- cut the cauliflower into 3/4 inch “steaks”, trimming off the bottoms and removing all the leaves
- chop the flower heads
Baking the cauliflower steaks
- put the cauliflower pieces on a sheet pan sprayed with Pam
- preheat the oven to 425°F
- mix olive oil and butter in a bowl
- mix all the spices together in a separate bowl
- brush half of the oil and butter mixture onto the tops of all the cauliflower pieces, then coat them all with half of the spices
- put the steaks in the oven for 15 minutes
- flip the steaks over when they are done and repeat step 5.
- cook for another 15 minutes, then broil for 5 minutes. make sure tow watch while broiling so it does not burn
- serve them in a plate, topping them with some parsley and drizzling balsamic glaze before you enjoy!
