These Stuffed Mushrooms– You’ll Love!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • Italian hot sausages
  • 24 white mushrooms
  • 3 oz. shredded cheddar
  • 1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
  • about 3 oz. white wine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 4 scallions
  • cheddar cheese
  • garnish

Method

Preparing the mushrooms

  1. take the stems off the mushrooms and only put the caps in a bowl
  2. add balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. mix then set aside

Preparing the stuffing

  1. take the casings off the sausages
  2. dice the scallions
  3. add the scallions and the sausage into a bowl
  4. grate the cheddar cheese into the bowl, then add Panko and bacon
  5. chop the mushroom stems from before and add them to the bowl
  6. add white whine and mix everything together

Finishing the dish

  1. preheat the oven to 425°F
  2. cover each mushroom top with the mixture and roll them into balls, then place them into a pan
  3. sprinkle some parmesan on each ball
  4. cook in the over for about 40 minutes at 425°F or until nice and brown
  5. take the pan out and let them cool for 10 minutes
  6. serve the stuffed mushrooms on a plate and add some garnish before you enjoy!
