Ingredients

- 2 lb. chicken thighs, chopped into bite sized-pieces
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 15 ginger slivers
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 3-4 green onions, chopped
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- rice

Method
- put water, brown sugar, 1 tsp cornstarch, soy sauce, and Hoisin sauce into a bowl and mix
- put chicken in a bowl and add 1/2 cup of corn starch, then mix with your hands
- put vegetable oil onto a pan and heat it up
- cook chicken for 6-8 minutes
- take out the chicken and strain it
- put the chopped ends of the green onions, the red chili slices, and the sticks of ginger into the pan
- cook and mix for 20-30 seconds, add garlic, then cook and mix for another 20 seconds
- add the sauce into the pan and stir and cook it until nice and thick
- add the chicken to the sauce and mix
- add sesame oil and mix and cook some more
- turn off the heat before you put the chopped green onions in
- stir it around one more time, then serve the chicken on some rice before you enjoy!
