Ingredients

  • 5 lb Boston Butt, bone in
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Texas honey pecan BBQ sauce
  • buns
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • hot water

Method

  1. put lots of slat and pepper on the meat
  2. heat up the stove and put olive oil in the sauce pan
  3. put the meat in and add some more salt and pepper to the sides without any
  4. brown each side of the meat except for 1
  5. add the onions and finish browning all the sides
  6. add enough water to almost cover the meat but not quite
  7. cover the pan with a lid, bring it to a boil, then simmer it for 4 hours
  8. once the meat is done, put it in a large bowl and remove the bone
  9. shred the meat using a couple forks, or your hands, to pull it apart
  10. put the BBQ sauce on each bun
  11. put the meat on the bottom bun, add some more sauce on top, then add the top bun. Enjoy!
