Ingredients

- pasta
- 1/2 cup parmesan, freshly grated
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3-4 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- fresh basil
- 1 lemon
Method
- melt butter in a pan
- add garlic and lemon zest and stir, then turn off the heat
- boil some water and cook the pasta
- scoop the pasta into the pan of garlic and butter
- put in at least 1/2 cup of pasta water into the pan
- stir the pasta well, add lemon juice, then stir well again
- add water if needed, then add the parmesan
- stir and cook until done
- serve on a plate and top with some lemon zest, grated cheese, and fresh basil before you enjoy!
