Cream Thai Dumpling Soup

Ingredients

  • 20 Gyoza dumplings, frozen
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 14 oz. coconut milk
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp Thai red curry paste
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method

  1. pour olive oil into a sauce pot on the stove and put it on medium
  2. once oil is warm, dump in the garlic and ginger and cook for 2 minutes or so, making sure not to brown anything
  3. pour in the chicken broth and the coconut milk, stir them, then simmer for 5 minutes
  4. put in chili paste, lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and brown sugar
  5. stir the soup then simmer for 5 to 6 minutes
  6. put in the frozen Gyozas and cook for 7 minutes, or until they float to the top
  7. serve the soup in a bowl and top with some cilantro before you enjoy!
