Ingredients

- 3 oz soy sauce
- 3 oz brown sugar
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped finely
- 8 oz Ribeye
- sea salt (optional)
Method
Marinade:
- In a pan, add soy sauce, brown sugar, white vinegar, pepper, and garlic.
- Warm up the mixture to melt the brown sugar.
Preparing the skillet and cooking the steak:
- Put the steak into the bag and pour in the marinade.
- Vacuum the bag and seal it closed.
- Place the steak in the top rack of the dishwasher.
- Cook for 1 hour. (If you can adjust the dishwasher temperature, set it to 120 °F.)
- When you are 30 minutes into cooking the steak, put the cast iron skillet into a cold oven.
- Bring up the heat to 500°F, then pull out the pan after 30 minutes.
- Place the 500°F skillet on a heated stove, then sear the steak in the pan for a couple minutes.
- Serve in a plate and top with some sea salt if you would like. Enjoy!
