Ingredients

- 1 lb. Italian Sausage
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Reggiano
- 1 onion, chopped
- 28 oz. Marinara sauce
- 15 oz Ricotta
- 15 oz tomatoes, diced
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp pepper flakes
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, chopped
- 16 oz Ziti
- 2+ cups Mozzarella
- salt and pepper to taste

Method
- Put the sausage in a pan on a heated stove and break apart the sausage.
- Put the onions in, then stir and cook until the meat is completely brown.
- Add water, Marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, pepper flakes, and cherry tomatoes.
- Mix, then cover and cook for 12 minutes.
- Pre heat the oven to 375°F.
- In a small bowl, add the egg, Ricotta, 1 cup Mozzarella, chopped parsley, and parmesan. Mix.
- Spread about 1 cup of the sauce in the bottom of a casserole dish that is about 9×13 inches.
- Put in about half of the Ziti, then add the entire mixture of ricotta.
- Put in about half the sauce.
- Add the rest of the ziti, then add the rest of the sauce.
- Cover the top with more Mozzarella, then cook in the oven at 375°F for 25-30 minutes.
- Top with some basil if you would like. Enjoy!
